London in the summer is absolutely the best place on Earth. Everyone is happier, the city is bustling and absolutely everything moves outside….Restaurants find ways to pop-up on roofs, or to food markets and every bar overpills out on to the streets.
But I really love London in the summer because it becomes the most stylish place ever in the summer. Gone are frumpy winter cosy clothes, and in come hot pants, vintage floaty dresses and cotton-candy coloured hair. Heaven.
This week however, it will not be sunny, but it will be hot. Which means that it will be muggy and humid and that is just not a good look on anyone. My top tip is to not be fooled by the ominous clouds gathering outside your window, because it WILL stay sweaty. Soz.
By the end of the week the sun will be out again and everyone will be happy…
Which is why I have chosen the humble white t-shirt as my jump-off point this week. It’s flexible, so you can wear it on grey days and on sunny days; it’s adaptable; and I have to say that it is tres, tres chic. Tie it up, tuck it in or let it flow, this wardrobe staple will not let you down.
Here is what I will be wearing this week:
Sunglasses, Dior, £380. Watch, Kenzo, £249. Shorts, Glamorous, £60. Esparilles, Chanel (pre-owened), $315. T-shirt, Otte NY, £63. Skirt, Zara, £26. Trainers, Nike, £72. Necklace, Kenneth Cole, £27. Trousers, Vero Moda, £35. Flatforms, Lulu’s $49.
love the items and will totally go well with this hot weather in London 🙂
